A Helping Hand—Addictions Ministry
Are you tired of being bound in your addictions to drug and alcohol? If you answered “YES”, then please come and join us every Monday evening at 7:00pm for a Christ centered program on helping you overcome your addiction. For it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13, “ There is no temptation (addiction) taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation (addiction) also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
A Helping Hand was formed because of the need to show people that with the learning and study of Jesus Christ, there there is a way to get and stay delivered from addiction. We believe that by putting Jesus Christ first in our lives and support of this group, we can remain free and delivered from our addictions. We also encourage you to become involved in a local church. LWCC welcomes anyone looking for a home church.
A Helping Hand is not an in house treatment center, we are a support group whose main function is o help you discuss ways to stay clean. We can provide you with a list of recommended Christian Treatment Centers and various detox facilities. You should know that we are here to help you, not to do it for you. As a recovering addict you have to take the first step. We will share with you how we stay clean and make recommendations to you on steps you can take to stay clean.
